hi,
are u an agent, if not how do u get the MCP table, because that table is come from MEMO which are not disclosed to public.
no, i'm not an agent.
i dont see why these info should not be published for consumer's benefits.
if you compare the schedule of benefits, most insurance companies have quite similar package. but when you look into the details in the premium table, then you can differentiate which insurance has the cheaper cost in the short and long term.
i find a lot of general insurance companies that disclose the premium table for most insurance products, but not life insurance companies. i personally find such behaviour irresponsible and trying to deceive the consumers.
just my opinon. thanks.
no i mean, that mcp table is from MEMO, not from brochure. If from brochure i understand.
but from memo, only circulated between agency force and usually before product launched.
So thats why i wonder where you get that table.
i found them in the net quite some time back. not sure whether they are still available.
I found your info helpful and you are right, to get more info is to contact an agent. The only reason the life insurance tables are not published are due to the fact that the agents work on sales quotes, sometimes this quotes are updated on a monthly/occasional basis and the info you will have will no longer be valid. General insurance changes on the other hand has to be sanctioned by bank negara first. That is why.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, you are right to point out that since i'm not an agent, my info on my blog might be outdated. But, as long as the agent/consumers out there point out to me whenever a new coverage is announced, i will try my best to get these info and updates them accordingly.
Hi,
I would like to know whether the AIA medical card for standalone and ILP is guaranteed renewable? Tq for any help. Very much appreciated.
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
As far as i know, both standalone and ILP medical card from AIA are guaranteed renewal, subject to the standard clause.
Hi Jutamind
great job on the informative news!!
Thanks!
Just curious as i see in the ECP+MCP table, the brochure mentions after 65 for renewal only....
is it after age 65 ECP+MCP is no longer on guaranteed renewal basis??
i think what it meant is you cannot buy the policy once you hit age 65. you can buy it at age 64 or before, and the policy will be auto renewed after age 65, until death or termination at your own will.
Hi, thanks for the info...
Is AIA medical card without co-insurance?
What are the benefits?
thanks
Hi, do you have the latest premium table and benefit schedule from AIA? Tried to get it from my agent, but was told that it is not available:-(

Do you know what is the medical coverage for this AIA policy ? ARA (ECP/MCP 350) bought in 2010.
